Kodak Scan Van

Here's me and Vergie at the Kodak Scan Van. It was cool - I had to drive about 45 min. to the Scan Van which stopped at the Carlsbad Company Stores. I brought a box of vintage photos from when my parents were first married and some of when my oldest was young and there were no digital cameras (seriously - haha). Anyway, for $24.95 they scan up to 200 photos on their cool little high speed scanner. Twenty-four hours later, my photos are in my Kodak gallery account. Very cool - you can buy a premier membership (worth it) and get access to your digital photos at their original resolution. You can also get a CD archive of your scanned photos. This little trip to the Scan Van saved me tons of time and frustration (I hate scanning). Right now the Scan Van is in limited locations - Southern California and South Florida.

Take a look at the lady in the white hoodie to the right of me and Vergie - see the large suitcase at her feet? She had that thing packed full of photos! WOW!
